I had full acid pro 6 I think, and lost the installation discs in a flood, so I got the trial for this to mess around again. I liked it, it was easy to pick up the changes in the interface and when I get around to being serious about composing some music again, I’m definitely buying the license.
It’s perfect. Pretty cool software. Doesn’t keep my interest, not my type of music mixer maybe? I’ve heard Acid is a favorite brand, and their free downlload cChristmas trial wasn’t something I could pass up, so for that I’m grateful I have used the other Acid, and this is not it.
The other had time stretching to make bpm clips into bpm clips, this one does NOT do that. But it works as advertised. I’ll probably go for the PRO version at a later date. I’m still considering getting the pro version though, or maybe the full acid 10 home version. It’s just that the trial version didn’t give me access to what I wanted or I didn’t know how to access it. Tutorials are limited.
Online tutorials are non-existent on making beats from the music 10 version. I was so hoping that this would work for me, as I’ve used ACID products in the past, and this version offers some wonderful features and updates. But on my computer, it kept crashing. I gave up after an hour. The good news is that I was operating under the free trial, so I didn’t have to seek a refund.

The only problem I ran into with it was one that apparently many people avid come across as well where I would enter the serial number and it would say it was going to restart, but nothing would happen. To do this on Windows, press the Windows key and R together on your keyboard.
